Northwest Forcemain Nearing Completion

The City of St. Augustine new forcemain that is being constructed to accommodate service in the northwest sector of St. Augustine is nearing completion. After successfully acquiring permits for the project, P&A engineers are now on call to troubleshoot concerns, perform site inspections, and provide support to the Contractors and the City Utilities Department. Perhaps the most challenging part of the project, according to P&A field engineer Jesse Colston, has been the directional drilling of the pipe under the San Sebastian river from US 1 on the east side of the river to Helen Street on the west side.
